Abstract Low back pain is one of the leading causes of disability worldwide, affecting millions of people and generating high demand for medical attention. This study reviews the relationship between low back pain and emotional processes, as well as the effectiveness of electroacupuncture treatment in relieving these symptoms. A comprehensive search was conducted in scientific databases to collect relevant studies on the topic.
