Abstract This article analyzes the experiences of discrimination and agency among adolescents in Santiago de Cuba, based on the participatory action-research workshop “Ciudad Color Adolescencias” (summer 2025). The objective was to characterize the adolescent social space and evaluate the relevance of alterity education. Engaging with the sociology of childhood and the pedagogy of alterity, specific capitals (aesthetic, relational, digital) and geographies of exclusion were identified.
